This Privacy Policy describes how DRIVER NE LLP (“DriverNE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use the DriverNE Partners mobile application and related driver services (collectively, the “Partner Platform”).
By registering as a driver partner, logging in, or using the DriverNE Partners app, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Partner Platform.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Registration & identity information
- Full name, mobile phone number, and email address
- City or town of operation
- Profile photograph
- Driver Onboarding Agreement acceptance record (timestamp and version)
2.2 Verification documents
To onboard and maintain driver quality, we collect and review documents you upload, which may include:
- Driving licence
- Government-issued identity proof
- Vehicle registration certificate (RC)
- Insurance and other compliance documents as required
These documents are stored securely on our servers and reviewed by authorised DriverNE administrators for verification purposes.
2.3 Operational & trip information
- Online/offline availability status
- Assigned and completed trip details (pickup, drop, times, fares)
- Trip OTP verification records
- Earnings and ride history shown in the partner app
- Driver serial ID and account status (pending, approved, suspended, etc.)
2.4 Location information
- Device location when you are online and when permission is granted — used to receive nearby trip requests, navigate to customers, and support trip coordination
- You can control location access through your device settings; some features require location to function
2.5 Device & technical information
- Authentication tokens stored securely on your device
- App version, device type, and logs needed for security and troubleshooting
3. How We Use Your Information
- Register, verify, and manage your driver partner account
- Send OTP codes for login and trip verification via SMS
- Match you with customer booking requests when you are online
- Display trip details, navigation support, and ride history
- Process payouts and operational records as per DriverNE policies
- Ensure safety, prevent fraud, and enforce platform rules
- Provide partner support via phone, WhatsApp, and email
4. Third-Party Service Providers
- MSG91 — SMS OTP delivery
- Google Maps — maps and location services (where enabled)
- Hosting & infrastructure — secure storage of profile data and uploaded documents
We do not sell driver personal data to third parties for their independent marketing.
5. Data Sharing With Customers & Administrators
- Customers: When you accept a trip, we share information needed for the service (e.g. your name, photo, contact number, and live location during an active trip)
- DriverNE staff: Authorised administrators access your profile and documents for verification, support, safety, and compliance
- Legal requests: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security
6. Document & Photo Permissions
The partner app requests access to your device camera and photo library so you can capture and upload verification documents and your profile photo. Images are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on our servers. Only upload documents you are authorised to share.
7. Data Retention
We retain driver data while your partner account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to:
- Maintain trip and payment records
- Resolve disputes and safety investigations
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
Verification documents may be retained for compliance even after account closure where required by law. Contact us to request deletion where applicable.
8. Security
We implement reasonable safeguards including HTTPS API communication, secure token storage, and restricted admin access to sensitive documents. You are responsible for keeping your phone, OTP, and login session secure.
9. Your Choices & Rights
- Update profile information and re-upload documents in the app
- Go offline to stop receiving new trip requests
- Manage camera, photo, and location permissions in device settings
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting support
- Deactivate your partner account by contacting DriverNE support
10. Children
The Partner Platform is for licensed drivers aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The Effective Date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
